Sassy VeZay BBC RADIO interview
I did this bbc radio interview https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0dnrsmb
talking about faith a lot and how it helped me when I lost both of my parents in 2019 , 2 months apart , I was in so much dilemma and didn’t know what to do say or be , I was lost in a way i didn’t think possible . As I’ve always had unconditional love from both parents I was unsure what to do when they were not in this world anymore ,
I lost all sense of being and I would just walk my dog for hours and hours and find churches in Nashville to sing and light candles , I found it a lonely time and I still feel that way without them , I know everyone in the world also experience grief , so in my blog I’m gonna document all the stages of my grief and writing songs helped me to find a light in the big tunnel of darkness I was in . I nearly did give and it’s been the hardest years of my life . Music and writing keeps me alive . Now in 2025 I’m only just beginning to think a little more clearly . And back in Nashville makes me ambitious like I used to be when they were both here on earth .
I’ve never really written about this before , so I’ll be doing a dear diary on here to continue my songwriting music and grief journey .
Thanks for stopping by
Sassy ❤️
